Two Bikes up for Grabs in 2012

Carlisle Bike Fest to Award one Bike Saturday, Another on Sunday

Carlisle Bike Fest, July 20-22 at the Carlisle PA Fairgrounds, is a celebration of open- air excitement not to be missed. The event, one of the largest of its type nationally, is well known for its demo rides, shopping, cruises through the scenic Cumberland Valley, unmatched camaraderie and more. Bike Fest is also known for its annual giveaways, allowing one and sometimes two enthusiasts to ride off on bikes other than the ones they arrived on. 2012 will be no different.

This year, Bike Fest is proud to announce a great giveaway, a Kawasaki Ninja 250R presented by Motor-Vation and Koup’s Cycle Shop. This bike has been Kawasaki’s best selling sport bike since its debut in 1983 and has long been a favorite for beginners as well as experienced riders. The Ninja will be a great addition to an enthusiast’s collection, providing a great trip down memory lane or for a first-time owner be something they can proudly show off. The 250R provides great performance on highways and freeways and has high fuel economy with an estimated 60+ miles per gallon capability.

Also up for grabs, in conjunction with Appalachian Harley Davidson, is a 2011 Harley Davidson XL1200N Sportster 1200 Nightster. This bike has a unique Dark Custom style and has a vintage motorcycle look. This Dark Custom has several custom styling features that all add up to a stripped down, minimalist, vintage motorcycle look. The giveaway comes with a custom Lepera Solo Seat, 12" black Harley-Davidson mini-apes bars with black diamond braided cables and brake lines added by our partner Appalachian Harley-Davidson.

Attendance is not required to win the bikes, and no additional purchase is necessary. Hopeful winners can sign up onsite via one of many kiosks located within the new Guest Services building during Carlisle Bike Fest, or online via www.CarlisleEvents.com/giveaways.
